Admit it, using wireless devices is much more efficient than using "vined" ones. Wireless service is another great breakthrough technology than obviously enhances our way of living.
One very good example of this is the BLUETOOTH. Before transferring of data was quite a load-off, you got to connect and use wires which was very long and buy us time to set up just to past those word documents and setting up is not an easy task because you got to test the whole thing to ensure transfer of data, by this fact accuracy is very small since too much wiring can cause a sore in the eye or shall we say to disorganized. Bluetooth on the other hand uses waves as a mean of communication. Mobiles and computers are of preferring this service, it is more good to use because you don't need to set up a thing, just locate your recipient pass on the file, wait until the 100% ticks! Presto you got your self a good data without getting the chance to lose or a corrupt data.
Example of this bluetooth devices are the CELLPHONES. transferring of pictures and sound files to your friends is not a problem anymore. You can do it anywhere and anytime, talk about good efficiency of such gadgets! Another kind of these bluetooth devices are the BLUETOOTH HEADSET. Unfortunately, these devices are way much costly than wired ones, but the fact here is that it is more knowledgeable to use this one. Proving my fact here by telling you that who wants to play their music with all those wire coiled all over your body? I mean, except for the reason of playing music is to relax, people tend to be fashionable with headset covering up their ears. Well bluetooth headset is a great renovation to you, all you need is to bring your cellphone or any other bluetooth capable device and your ready to go.
Ahh. The GPRS or what we call General Pocket Radio Switch. This device enables devices to connect to the internet using speed that is not far from the usual broadband we use, approximately 56 - 114 kbps speed. Mobile devices that support the GPRS service takes the most advantage here.
PRIVACY is the term used for personal use of data which you, yourself, should be the only one to know. Knowing this phrase we must ensure our SECURITY or we must be the one to authorize to whereabouts and what is happening to our files. We must be informed that the use of internet and other outside devices may cause different kind of harms to our computer or any other internet capable devices.
Be informed of the MALWARE. Its primary goal is to infiltrate or damage system, files, or even important datas without the owner's consent. There are four kinds of malware. First is the VIRUS. These programs are able to replicate it self or multiply itself. The primary characteristic of these is when they are accessed they start to replicate. Next is the WORMS. Please don't be confused with the virus and worms, the only characteristic of these is they tend to replicate by their own unlike the virus that works only when accessed. Then next is the TROJAN HORSE. These files are able to access the user's system but this ones can't replicate itself. They spread to devices via e-mail attachments or downloading. Lastly is the SPYWARE. These types are designed to collect information about the user's info without the user's knowledge.
Some protection from these harmful files are these. The FIREWALL, designed to block unauthorized access while permitting those that meet a certain criteria. It also prevents the leak of important information to the internet. Then theres the VPN or the Virtual Private Network, created to make tunnels that only permits those have business and denies those whose intentions are to infiltrate. Another is the ANTI -VIRUS, of course from the word itself prevents entrance of virus, worms and trojans and destroys them. Next up the ANTI - SPAM, these one targets the malware plotting around your network.
